Life Education

Category 1

This project will deliver 30 free Life Education preventative health and well being sessions to the most disadvantaged and vulnerable primary and secondary schools in the Cumberland LGA.

Starlight Children's Foundation

Category 1

The Starlight Express Room offers a medical free haven't for children and their families to play, laugh, listen to music, sing and dance and to forget about the stress of hospital life for a while.

Odyssey House

Category 1

Relapse Prevention Program will be delivered
as an online weekly group over a six-week period. This program will be integrated with a harm minimisation approach, within a stepped care framework that is evidenced-based, flexible, culturally safe, trauma informed and responsive to client identified needs.

Technical Aid for the Disabled

Category 1

This project will subsidise the cost of custom equipment for people with disabilities in Merrylands who cannot access the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Merrylands East Public School

The Outdoor Classroom -Teaching and learning outdoors is known to have had various benefits for a child's learning. outcome and for their health as well as personal and social development. This man made gathering circle is planned to be a unique and special part of our outside school environment. It is to be a space that can be used for spontaneous or planned activities.

Healthy Kids Association

Healthy Kids Association is a health promotion charity and member organisation which works closely with schools, canteens, government, health professionals, food companies and families to improve access to nutritious food and educate children and families on how to make healthy choices for a healthy life.

The Boys Program - the main purpose of the program is to provide selected Year 10 boys with skills that will help them transition into trades

Careers Pathway Program- There are a number of components to the Careers Pathway program which culminate in students designing and delivering a project at school that addresses a need. Students have identified the need to beautify an area within the senior seating area and will design and plant a succulent garden.

Assistance with relief for rego and uniform payments, we dont want any kids to miss out. We need to ensure a safe return to play our grounds need of some replacement of new equipment bags, cleaning products to deep clean bulky equipment that doesn't need replacing purchasing hand sanitize, thermometer, extra masks, gloves, and signage for social distance, these costs were never factored before

Merrylands RAMS JRLFC

Corporate Partner Major Sponsor. This will enable us to compete with the larger Licenced clubs within our locality to provide the best possible facilities for all our players to learn to play and enjoy the great game of Rugby league.

Womens Bowls NSW

Category 2

The Champion of Champion Pairs is a State-Wide Tournament where every winner of the Club Ladies Pairs Championship is invited to enter a team to play to become the NSW Champion of Club Champions. Previously this event led to an Australian Title where every State winner would play off. This option is now no longer there but based on feedback from the players WBNSW would still like to run this event to find a State Winner.

We would like to get a gazebo as we use this for game day and need shelter for our players in between games and also for sporting gala days an extra costs to go towards presentation costs to help with trophies for the girls

Greystanes Devils JRLFC

To retain players in the teenage years, from the success of last years City V Country Internationals tour to Orange for our U13, U14 and U15 teams earlier this year we are seeking to continue this initiative this season. Funding would be used for Tour attire such as T-shirts that would incorporate the donating Clubs logo, for catering and venue hire for the post game function and subsidise an activity such as Go-carting / paintball for our teenage players
